Introduction: Terry Moss
There is good potential this year with five returning starters and one coming off the bench. There are six new players from Iceland, Denmark, Croatia, Washington, Casper, and Gonzaga.

The schedule is still in flux, but the team will be at BYU this year and have a Thanksgiving tournament in Puerto Rico.

The team continues to improve. Baker is a former Cowgirl, who wanted to get back to Wyoming to coach. She wanted to come back because of the amazing statewide fan support.

With the Mountain West transfer portal, UW women’s basketball is not affected much, but other teams are definitely going to have changes this year because of it. Some teams have an all-new roster.

There have been better spotlights for women athletes lately and more star players. UW handles the NIL through volunteering for nonprofits. The team spent time at the Boy and Girls Club of Cheyenne, and it was a great experience. It’s not just free money for the players; they do have to participate to receive it.

Two players have also been picked up for promotional sponsorships. The international players can’t take advantage of the NIL unless they are on their home ground or through unsolicited gear purchases.

Response: John Bard

Response: The Rotary Club of Laramie will make a donation to the public library children’s book fund in the speaker’s name.
NOTE: We Do Not Donate a Book!

Rotary 4-way test
Of the things we think, say, or do:
•Is it the Truth?
•Is it Fair?
•Will it build Good Will and
  Better Friendships?
•Will it be Beneficial to All
  Concerned?

The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
•FIRST. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
•SECOND. High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
•THIRD. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
•FOURTH. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
