Introduction: Terry Moss

Coach Wicks is UW’s 23rd head coach. This year is expected to be a little tough, as the team works to grow. UW needs players with pride and passion for the entire state.

The team mission to build teams through shared sacrifice, shared ownership, individual responsibility, and collective accountability. Wicks’ goal is to the most connected and most competitive team on their schedule from year to year.

Roster is still in the works. The team is still figuring things out. There is a difference between the players UW can recruit and the players UW can actually get. We need the underdogs with the chip on their shoulder.

Wicks works with his team to everyday be: a great teammate, a good person, a competitor, and on time. In his eyes, he is molding and growing these players into men.

Wicks noted that the transfer portal has a bad reputation at UW, but he encourages everyone to understand that he is happy for the players who can take advantage of the current market. While it is hard on the team, UW has to be adaptive.

Rotary 4-way test
Of the things we think, say, or do:
•Is it the Truth?
•Is it Fair?
•Will it build Good Will and
  Better Friendships?
•Will it be Beneficial to All
  Concerned?

The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
•FIRST. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
•SECOND. High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
•THIRD. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
•FOURTH. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
