Manufacturing Works (MW) is Wyoming’s NIST-MEP Center, that is the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Manufacturing Extension Program (MEP). According to MW’s mission, they “promote innovation, manufacturing and industrial competitiveness, with the goal of building a stronger and more prosperous Wyoming through enhanced economic security and an improved quality of life.”
MW focuses on delivering services for “Phase 4.0 of the industrial revolution” includes digitization of the manufacturing sector, driven by disruptive trends including the rise of data and connectivity, analytics, human-machine interaction, and improvements in robotics.
MW brings in 3rd party partners who can assist manufacturers in areas such as sales and distribution channels, marketing, prototyping, contracts and human resources.
Business solution examples include reshoring, cybersecurity, workforce development, supply chain issues, and management raining. A business does not have to be a manufacturer to work with MW.
Four years ago MW in Wyoming was failing on the MEP scorecard, but now is excelling in its services to Wyoming business.  MW Wyoming currently has 1300 clients and has been very successful in fund raising. With their $1.2M in annual funding, MW produces an estimated $130M in economic impact annually.
MW recently held its annual Manufacturing Day, which is an opportunity for Wyoming manufacturers to open their doors to students, parents, teachers and community leaders, and show them what a career in modern manufacturing can look like.
Through tours, job fairs, panel discussions and related events, manufacturers provide an opportunity for visitors to better understand the impact of their work on their community and the state of Wyoming.
Manufacturing Works currently has offices in Laramie, Cheyenne, and Riverton.

Rotary 4-way test
Of the things we think, say, or do:
•Is it the Truth?
•Is it Fair?
•Will it build Good Will and
  Better Friendships?
•Will it be Beneficial to All
  Concerned?

The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
•FIRST. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
•SECOND. High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
•THIRD. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
•FOURTH. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
