Program: UW Volleyball, Coach Kaylee Prigge

Introduction: Anna Cramer

Coach Kaylee Prigge spoke to the club about UW volleyball. Her grandparents were involved with coaching, and her dad was a coach as well. Prigge’s dad was a coach in the NFL.

She played volleyball at University of Tampa. Prigge worked in marketing and did club coaching before deciding to take a coaching job.

Prigge has been coaching at UW for three years. Her main goal is to be consistent. The team is 4:0 in conference play right now. There are four Wyoming kids on the roster.

UW volleyball can recruit only from club volleyball in the state, not from high school. There is usually then a big learning curve for Wyoming players.

The team looks for people who want to be here, a good attitude and willingness to learn, able to share experiences, and have played more than one sport, as this can help with burnout.

The four Wyoming students on the team are Evelyn Udezue, Abi Milby, Maddy Stucky, and Addy Thorington.

Response: Anna Cramer

Response: The Rotary Club of Laramie will make a donation to the public library children’s book fund in the speaker’s name.
NOTE: We Do Not Donate a Book!

Rotary 4-way test
Of the things we think, say, or do:
•Is it the Truth?
•Is it Fair?
•Will it build Good Will and
  Better Friendships?
•Will it be Beneficial to All
  Concerned?

The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
•FIRST. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
•SECOND. High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
•THIRD. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
•FOURTH. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
